How to format your paper using MLA guidelines
Many of the humanities and English use MLA citation style.
The final authority for MLA is the Modern Language Association, specifically the MLA Handbook (8th ed., 2016). The final authority for the bibliographic form used in your paper is your professor.
This edition is a significant change from the 7th edition. See the page MLA Eighth Edition: What's New and Different for details.
