Log into Mahara at portfolio.goshen.edu.
Click the green Main Menu button, then the Portfolio tab.
Select the portfolio page you’d like to edit.
Click the Edit button in the upper right corner of the page.
Click on the gear icon on the block you’d like to edit.
Depending on the type of block, you will be able to edit text, upload files, or embed media. If you are editing an image or other file type, you will need to click the light gray box labeled “Image” or “Files” first.
When you are done making changes, click Save at the bottom of the editing pane.
Once you have saved the settings for an individual block, your portfolio will immediately be updated and saved.
You can rearrange the blocks on your portfolio page by dragging them and dropping them where you want them to go.
To add a new block to your portfolio page, click and drag one of the options from the menu on the left side of the page to the position you want the new block to be added.
To add a block with only text in it, use the “Text” box.
To add a block with an image, use the “Image” box.
To add a file to your portfolio page (such as a document that you’d like a user to be able to download and read), expand the “Media” tab of the menu and use the “Files to Download” box.
5. To embed a Youtube video on your portfolio page, expand the “External” tab of the menu and use the “External Media” box.
If you are not already in editing mode, click the “Edit” button in the upper right corner of your portfolio.
Click the “Share” button.
In the “Share with” dropdown box, select “Users”.
In the search box that appears, type the name of the person you’d like to share the portfolio with.
If you wish, you can specify dates that the person you’re sharing the page with will have access to it. To do so, specify those dates in the boxes labeled “From” and “To”.
When finished, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
