Chronicle of Higher Education

Good News! (pun intended)

Thanks to a library subscription, you have access to a free digital subscription to The Chronicle of Higher Education. This is available to all Goshen College community members with a current GC email account including:

  • current students
  • staff
  • faculty
  • retired employees

This includes full access to Chronicle.com with all articles going back to May 1989. While access from on campus is automatic, in order to access The Chronicle of Higher Education you will need to create an account. Below are instructions on how to do that.

Getting Started

New User Registration

Go to Chronicle.com and click on the Log In button in the upper right hand corner. You can do this from any location since you will be authenticated by using your Goshen email (@goshen.edu) and selecting Goshen College as your institution.  

Click on "Create an Account."

Then fill in your information making sure to use your Goshen College email (@goshen.edu) and selecting Goshen College as your institution. You will be prompted to create a password, make sure it is one you can remember, since Goshen College will not have access to this password.

Congratulations, now you have access to all of The Chronicle of Higher Education and can view it from on or off campus or your favorite mobile device. For questions or concerns, please contact librarytechservices@goshen.edu.
