CIRCULATION: RESERVES & PERIODICALS

Materials that must be shared among a number of students are placed on reserve at the circulation desk for use in the library. Circulation rules for these materials include:

• One reserve at a time per person.
• Three hour checkout - renewable if not in heavy demand.
• If the professor as approved overnight checkout, an item may be checked out three hours before closing and is due back next day one-half hour after the library opens.
• Not renewable by phone
• Fines charged at the rate of $1.00 per hour.

Periodicals may be used only in the library. Current issues of selected periodicals are shelved in the first floor NewsNook, while back issues are located on the third floor of the library.

Many of the back issues of periodicals are stored on microforms. Print machines are available for making copies at 10 cents per page.
