How to format your paper using MLA guidelines
For more information visit the Excelsior Online Writing Lab or Long Island University Citation Guide.
Many of the humanities and English use MLA citation style.
The final authority for MLA is the Modern Language Association, specifically the MLA Handbook (9th ed., 2021). The final authority for the bibliographic form used in your paper is your professor.
